In 2016 we launched the first models of PETBAG bags and since then we have been constantly improving them. We understood that dog owners love their dogs and if you love your dog, you want to share your passion for motorcycles and travelling. Today we officially have almost 6 different solutions for travelling with pets on a motorcycle.
Firstly, everyone should consider whether they want to take their furry friend on a motorcycle.
This decision should depend not only on the owner, but also on the dog. We, who offer products dedicated to travel, usually see only dogs that are positively disposed to riding, but it is important to realise that in many cases it will be quite the opposite.
Your pet's safety while travelling depends largely on how the bag is secured to the motorcycle and the rigidity of the bag's construction. In our experience, the vast majority of bags on the market are not rigid enough to withstand the stresses and strains of riding and the dog's movements. That's why many of the solutions on the market have to be attached to the sissybar and luggage rack. You can also find DIY solutions where bikers use strong welded plastic structures - this is a good solution, but it is heavy and there is usually a problem with quick disassembly. Our solution Dog Carrier Bag DEEMEED, unlike the competition, is rigid enough - aluminium plate on the bottom + metal reinforcements on the sides, so that the bag keeps its shape, which makes it possible to mount it from different places on the motorcycle (passenger seat, fender) while and our pet is completely safe.
Again, we have a unique solution: we use our own patented FUMS (Fast Universal Mounting System).
Additional mounting straps with metal elements provide extra security and protection, and in some cases installations without back racks or sissy bars are possible. The DeemeeD range also includes various types of accessories, which in most cases allow our bags to be mounted safely on the passenger seat or on the mudguard.
When we designed the DEEMEED Dog Carrier, we made sure that nothing was missing.
We did not design the DEEMEED DOG CARRIER on our own. We worked with experienced vets to ensure that our product meets the highest standards of safety and comfort for dogs.
Our veterinarians helped us design an interior space that allows dogs to move freely while keeping them safe during the journey.
By working with vets, the DEEMEED DOG CARRIER has been designed with proper ventilation systems to ensure proper airflow for the dog and to help maintain the right temperature inside.
Ultimately, working with veterinarians has helped us create a product that provides comfort and safety for dogs while travelling, while meeting veterinary requirements.
- Removable liner at the bottom of the bag
Openable fabric bag covers for ventilation and protection from wind and rain.
VARIOUS CONFIGURATIONS FOR EVERY MOMENT
| Top of the bag | Sides of the bag | Other |
Parade / Hot day, quiet ride in the city | Fabric flap and mesh flap open, rolled together and fastened with a Velcro strap. | The sides of the bag open and roll inward to create ventilation and at the same time protection from wind noise (microsounds) | We recommend that your dog is always pinned inside! A useful neck bandana. |
Good weather - faster driving - not highway driving | Mesh flap unzipped tucked behind the belt inside. Top flap closed. Panoramic opening open - the dog's head protrudes outside. | Sides of the bag as desired - depends on the temperature | We recommend that your dog is always pinned inside! |
Good weather - faster highway driving | Zippered mesh flap. Fabric flap rolled up fastened with Velcro. | Sides of the bag as desired - depends on the temperature | Useful googles for driving. We recommend that your dog is always strapped inside! |
Colder days, wind, cold, free speed | Mesh flap, fabric flap and panoramic opening closed with locks. | Sides of the bag both open or one of them closed (the one on the exhaust side) | We recommend that your dog is always pinned inside! |
IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING WITH YOUR PET AND YOU DECIDE TO CHANGE YOUR CLOTHES, HE SHOULD TOO. IF IT STARTS TO RAIN AND YOU PUT ON A RAINCOAT, COVER HIM TOO.
Similarly - if you are suffering from the heat and you unzip the zippers of your pants then adjust your bag to the weather.
(The sides of the bag are made of a special durable mesh - protecting the ears from wind noise at higher speeds
- "panoramic type" collar to protect against the cold
- In the larger versions of the PET BAG, we have built-in 3-FUNCTIONAL BELT suspenders and can effortlessly take the bag with its "contents", for example, on a trip, in the car or to a hotel.
DOGBIKERS TIPS
BASED ON OUR 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE AND MANY CONVERSATIONS WITH DOG OWNERS WE GET SOME TIPS.
NOT EVERY DOG IMMEDIATELY BECOMES A RIDER!
- Open the bag and put inside dog's bed
- Let the dog jump in, encourage him with some toy or favorite food
- Maybe it'll try to fall asleep there?
- Mount the bag to the bike and again try with food or toy... do not start engine yet
- Try to lock the dog inside
- Take for small ride around, 1-2 km
- Longer trips...
Try it if you're not sure
If your four-legged friend loves to travel in the car and doesn't have any problems with it, he may be ready to join the DOG BIKERS club. You can ask a motorbike friend to accompany you and have a look at how your furry friend feels on the road. A test ride is the best way to find out. If you're not sure if your dog is interested in riding with you, remember that you can order one of our products (returnable for up to 30 days) or meet us at any event in Europe or the USA.

Choosing the right bag - how to fit your bag to your pet's size FITTING GUIDE
When it comes to dogs, weight is not the only factor to consider when choosing the right bag for your dog. It's also important to consider the dog's build, as certain breeds, such as the English Bulldog or Pit Bull, can be quite heavy despite their short stature. Conversely, some dogs can be tall and slender, resulting in a lower weight. If we rely solely on the manufacturer's weight recommendations, we may end up with a bag that is not big enough for our pet.
To ensure our dog's comfort and safety when riding, the bag should be large enough for him to lie down freely and the main flap should close securely. However, we should avoid choosing a bag that is too large, as this may encourage our pet to wriggle excessively during the ride, affecting the stability and balance of the motorcycle.
Our products are designed for many different breeds and sizes. We are particularly focused on small and medium breeds. We plan to introduce products for large breeds in the near future.
5 products from puppy to dog approx. 45cm at withers 1)

CONCLUSION:
⦁ Measure your dog at the withers*.
⦁ Check the table below
⦁ Remember that there are exceptions - the table is not an oracle
